Book of Strong Words

My main character has been given a notebook by her husband so that she may draw or write how she feels. She filled the notebook one night and woke him to look through it. He’d found out she’d been in more pain on the inside. She couldn’t figure out how to be happy. Due to her past, she’s been abused and treated badly and that pain has been in her ever since. It is hard for her to accept positivity and compliments. She feels guilty of being mean and threatening to others but something in her brain makes it hard to control.
